Stobie Prints (2013-2019)

Stobie Prints was a long running project that involved making cheap and quick relief prints that were then taped up on stobie polls around Adelaide, primarily in the Birkenhead/Port Adelaide/Semaphore area. Prints were also occasionally stuck up in other areas of Adelaide and in Canberra and Melbourne. The emphasis was on developing a fast, cheap, and non-toxic printmaking practice that could be deployed in the public realm guerilla style. Cheap water based inks were used and the paper was typically pages torn out of A4 or A5 visual diaries. Prints were affixed to stobie polls, windows, and walls, using cheap clear packing tape.
